We now see how corporations, designers, retailers, advertisers, and other middle-men influence what a thing can be and how it is made. The elves did a fair job of picking cherries for this excellent birthday pie from the Culls. Alongside the pie I drank tea out of my awesome new Wiener Werkstätte teacup/saucer; the tea was stirred with a fancy new Josef Hoffmann spoon, and made with H from my new Russell Hobbs electric kettle. I love my birthday. (See here for earlier optimal breakfast.)
